Portability

Portability is facility given to a policyholder to transfer one's existing health insurance policy from one insurer to another or from one health insurance policy to another health insurance policy within same insurer with all accumulated benefits of previous policy like intial waiting period, waiting period for pre-existing conditions and time-bound exclusions etc.
