Comorbidities/Pre-Existing Diseases

If you’re showing symptoms, or being treated/diagnosed for a condition that’s apparent while buying the policy, then such condition will be deemed as a pre-existing disease so long as they’re present 48 months before buying the policy.

When it comes to health insurance, pre-existing diseases are an important factor to consider. Most health insurance policies have a waiting period, during which the policyholder is not eligible for coverage for any pre-existing conditions. This waiting period can range from a few months to several years, depending on the insurer and the policy terms.
